In 2012, four independent controllers joined forces in order to introduce a new concept to the market. During an earlier collaboration, they had become aware of large sums of money being neglected between suppliers and clients. Their concept, named Recentes, has since proven itself successful. Recentes has grown considerably and serves many large clients in Retail, Wholesale, Industry and Healthcare.
Recentes is specialised in supplier conditions and sets of conditions. With a recovery, ‘lost’ revenues from the past are still realized. With practical advice and GRIP, the software we have developed, processes are improved and future leakages are prevented.
Current and future clients
Since the start of the collaboration, Recentes has been offering SpendLab’s recovery, compliance and risk services to its current and future clients. These services are used to analyze clients’ raw creditor data, detect irregularities such as undue payments, characterize risks and recover legitimate liquidity. In addition to the decisive creditor analysis, a risk and compliance report is delivered and the raw creditor data is visualized in the SpendLab Monitor.
An even stronger proposition
SpendLab offers the services of Recentes specifically to its customers, so that an even stronger proposition is created. In this way, our clients can be sure that no money from the past has been left behind and that the purchasing control processes can be optimally organized.
We can proudly state that our partnership has paid off. Last week, the first International (German) client Alliance Automotive Group Germany GmbH was contracted with Recentes and SpendLab will carry out a joint recovery project.
‘Recentes is a club of professionals that provides dedicated and professional services to clients. The organization specializes in supplier terms and condition systems. Our own services in Accounts Payable recovery services, in which we identify and categorize supplier risks from transactional data, are very much in line with this. I am therefore very much looking forward to the further roll-out of the partnership at home and abroad.’ says Iris Lopes, Managing Director of SpendLab.
Good news for our clients
Jaap Wieman, partner of Recentes, about the collaboration: ‘SpendLab is very progressive in using IT to identify risks in and analyze Creditor transactions. They are unparalleled in this. We at Recentes are also used to surprise our clients with our results. Our cooperation is therefore very good news for our clients and we expect a lot from it.’
A complete portfolio
With this new partnership, SpendLab and Recentes provide a complete portfolio of services, which enables current and future clients to have full control over the purchasing and accounts payable administration. The combination of high-quality IT solutions, innovative services and traditional research ensures less lost yields and more grip.
