Recentes is sometimes requested to actually implement the recommendations provided in a recovery project, on behalf of the client. Alternatively, clients may request assistance for purchasing projects without any prior issues. The nature of such projects can vary greatly.
The nature of the projects
A model must sometimes be designed and constructed, in which the set purchasing targets (KPIs) are specified and monitored. The results of negotiations with suppliers are calculated in order to determine whether the detailed and general targets have been met. Such a model is then suitable for use in the organisation for many years, being linked to the budget cycle.
In other cases however, clients may require analysis of risks in the purchasing processes or auditing of the correct application of holding guidelines. Thanks to our great AO/IC know-how, we can provide advice and implementation in this field.
Improvement process
If a recovery project has detected vulnerable spots in processes and/or jobs, we can translate this into an improvement process. This can involve:
- Clear division of tasks, separation of jobs and process descriptions
- Authorisation and powers
- Registration of agreements at source, to prevent them becoming lost in case of personnel changes
- Safeguarding of own financial data, in order to be able to challenge supplier statements
- Calculation and prognosis of the financial value of supplier agreements for periodic balancing, prognoses and budgets
